Hello everyone,

I wanted to ensure that everything was covered here.

Thanks for the input, @jacksparrow412.

@Wharehinga, In addition to what was mentioned above, this issue happens because the Nest Thermostat went through a non-orderly restart at some point that day. A non-orderly restart simply means that it wasn't restarted properly by going to its settings. Were there any instances where a power outage happened, the thermostat disconnected from Wi-Fi, or there were power issues?

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Mark

I understand the frustration of the energy history on the Nest app being two days behind and not showing yesterday's usage. It seems others are experiencing similar issues, but there are no satisfactory answers or Solutions available in the locked threads. To troubleshoot, try updating the Nest app, restarting your devices, and checking for any known issues or outages. If the problem persists, contacting Nest customer support directly may provide further assistance.

Hey Wharehinga,

Thanks for the update. I'm sorry for the delay. As long as you shut down your Nest Thermostat in an orderly manner, you shouldn't experience the issue. Ensure that Google is aware of this and working to resolve it. Stay tuned for updates. Otherwise, I'll be locking this thread after 24 hours.

Best regards,

Jenelyn
