Nest Thermostat OTA update

My Nest software version is still 1.1-11. Thought the OTA update/upgrade for Matter started week of 4/18. I want to add this to Apple Home without my current 3rd party bridge. Any idea when this OTA update will be complete?

Hello Dru1,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry.

We currently don't have any news on a specific date, but it's been rolling out already for the Nest Thermostat 2020 model. Your Nest Thermostat will automatically receive over-the-air updates about any software and hardware-related fixes or firmware updates as long as it's constantly powered on and connected to the Wi-Fi network.
