Delay with the thermostat. The home is not cooling.

The thermostat is stating that there is a delay. The home is not cooling off, although the AC is on.

Hello Conteh,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry.

Your Nest Thermostat is most likely having power-related issues on which it's trying to send a signal to your HVAC system, but the system isn't efficient enough to meet the needs. To isolate:

When did you install your Nest Thermostat?
Do you see any wiring reports or message codes?
Does it have a C-wire?
Did Cooling ever work?
Please share with us your thermostat's wiring setup and gather its power readings in the Equipment settings for the Nest Thermostat 2020 model or Technical Info for the Nest Learning Thermostat or the Nest Thermostat E.
