Went throughout trouble shooting and Wi-Fi will not connect and battery will not stay charge. Verified correct voltage to nest with Ac repairman. Must be faulty unit

Worked almost 1 year and stopped connecting and charging with mini usb charger only worked for a day now will not even charge

I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with your Nest Thermostat not connecting to your Wi-Fi network. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

In order to save the battery, the thermostat usually disconnects it from the Wi-Fi network. But there are situations where the thermostat drains its battery due to Wi-Fi connection issues. With this, could you tell us the type of Nest Thermostat you have? Are you getting any reports within its settings? If so, what's the message code? Also, please gather the power readings in the Technical Info for the Nest Learning Thermostat, the Nest Thermostat E, or in the Equipment Settings for the Nest Thermostat 2020 model.
