I have three Nest Learning Thermostats (3Gen) in my house; one runs the AC, the other two are connected to zones for the (hydronic) heating system. The AC is not zoned, so is controlled by only one thermostat for the whole house. I was considering getting a Nest temperature sensor to try and better balance the cooling. If I did, the sensor would be put right near where one of the heating 3Gen Nest thermostats is already installed.

I was thinking that it might be possible for the AC thermostat to use the heating thermostats as sensors, instead of purchasing separate remote temperature sensors. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks!
