Then get the green wires not connected and place that the G where the blue wire was. &amp;nbsp;Nest, at the thermostat, move the blue wire to C and pull the green wire out of the wall and place it on G. Last, turn the power back on. &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;so I installed the power adapter&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;yellow to yellow inline&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;red to red inline&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;white to “C”&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&amp;nbsp;the HVAC unit comes on but the compressor does not. Just the fan is running. I &amp;nbsp;removed the y stat on the app and restarted the thermostat and reinstalled the the device. Still just the fan running&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Remove your Nest Display, then remove the gray wire from W. Now make sure the bare copper wire is straight, no bends. &amp;nbsp;Then reinsert the Gray Wire into the W connector as far as it will go in. &amp;nbsp; Replace the display and test the heat again. Also has a test, you can touch the gray wire to the bare copper of the R wire and hold it there, if the heat comes on, then all is OK with your furnace. &amp;nbsp;If the heat does not come on, there is a problem with your furnace. If you want to be able to check the furnace, use a metal paper clip and put the red and gray wires in the paper clip.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
