Unenroll Rush Hour Rewards

I NEED to unenroll Rush Hour Rewards. i called my provider SCE and they said I need to contact thermostat company and they gave me the contact number 855-469-6378 which is no longer in use. So I contacted via online and I am holding like almost 30 mins and no one anwer the call. Why the heck they make it so difficult to unenroll from this nest hour reward? So annoying.

Can someone help me with that?

We're having the same issue. I believe lots of people do. They don't make it easy. It should be as easy to unroll as it is to enroll. They tell you to contact your provider who tells you to contact Google and then when you post something like this they close the thread because there's now a record of them not helping you. Good luck. I just want to throw the thing out.

@Phanie did you try to remove your account and add the thermostat again ? So are you still enrolled in the rush hours reward? The way they made it very difficult to unenroll. That’s ridiculous system.

That form is not helpful. It’s not leading to anywhere. It all back to the same page to call the service provider.

Go to the form as suggested

- select Thermostat

- type "Unenroll from Nest Rewards"

- click "Other" under Description of Issue, then "Next Step" button

- click "Next Step" button again under under Resources

- click "Get A Call" button

I was called by a human in <1 min however the call itself took about 20 min. But ultimately, success!

I'm having the same issue in New Orleans. I called Entergy, our power company and they gave me the same non-working phone number your company gave you. Finally got someone to call me from Google after I fill out the online form and they told me if we get disconnected to call back, I let her know the number wasn't working and she said, that's correct it doesn't work any longer. "HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CALL YOU BACK?" ... Silence. So she's transferred me to another department and I've been on hold for a good 45 minutes.

I just want to control my own thermostat without it jumping around all day. There has to be an easier way to unenroll from this damned mess. What sort of racket is this? At every turn they're attempting to block us from being able to unenroll from this "program". In total I've wasted two and a half hours of my life. Get it together GOOGLE!

This is actually ridiculous. I never signed up for this program but now it appears to be the reason my thermostat changes temperatures on its own randomly during the day, causing my room to heat up very high.

I filled out the form and talked to customer support about this, and they had a slew of roadblocks for me including asking for my physical Nest device serial number, an email verification for security to grant the support agent access, and finally at the end, they told me they escalated my request to a dedicated team to get back to me via email in a few business days. Oh my god, I cannot understand why Google hates customers unenrolling from this rewards program so badly. Feels illegal that it’s this difficult to unenroll from something I never chose to join. I’m shocked Google isn’t more notorious for this. I just bought another thermostat so I can throw my Nest away.

I feel same way, My home was being forced to 83° from 5pm to 9pm and everyone has been sitting in sweat. But my poor elder parents have had the worst of it. I feel like they won't last much longer in the heat due to RUSH HOUR NIGHTMARE CONTROL by Google. It's NOT right, I feel a law suit would be in order for this.
