My GEN 2 NEST works only from the APP - the face module slips - no rotation control - can I but a used model and simply install the working face module onto my existing working/wired plate -- plug + play?

I understand that you've been using your Nest Learning Thermostat 2nd generation, for years now. Unfortunately, we no longer manufacture this version. You might find the same version at any third-party retailer that you can use with your existing thermostat, but I would suggest upgrading to our latest models instead for better use.
