I cannot connect the thermostat to the nest app. at the final stage, when it is necessary to specify where the thermostat is located, the entire program hangs and does not work. Notifies that the connection process is not completed.

I have the exact same issue where the entire app no matter the app device will get stuck on naming the location of the thermostat. We've gone through every troubleshooting step imaginable. We then opened up a ticket with google support yesterday and they are saying its a bug that their engineers are working through. I suggest everyone open up a ticket with nest support.

What is the exact message or code you're seeing on the Nest app as you connect the thermostat to it? Also, have you tried to use a different phone or tablet to connect the thermostat to the Nest app? If not yet, please try to do so and let us know how it goes.
