Bought my home that has the nest and was given directions to reset and the pair with my phone. My app just gave me a notice the nest will no longer work in Oct 2025. What do I do now?

I think I heard some Nest thermostats weren't being supported anymore. Is that what you have?

Now, you've received a message in the app indicating that your Nest product will no longer function after October 2025. No worries, I can definitely help with your concerns!

For precise details, I can confirm this upcoming change only applies to the Nest Learning Thermostat (1st and 2nd gen). Specifically, these models will stop receiving software updates and won't be supported in the Nest and Home apps as of October 25, 2025.
