I had my nest products set up and working perfectly, but it all went wrong when I got pestered to migrate to google.
since doing that, lost all my nest products one the app, and when trying to reconnect, keeps saying it’s connected to another account.
managed to get my thermostat factory reset and connected, but can’t do it with the doorbell. It’s the nest wired doorbell.
please help me. I don’t have the option anywhere of ‘forgetting’ the device, either in the nest app, or google home.

If you are logging into the Google Nest app and the Google Home app with the same Google Account credentials (the same account to which you migrated), you SHOULD be able to see all of your existing Google Nest devices. Are you connecting to the same Google Nest "home/structure" you were connecting to before you migrated?
You SHOULD also be able to go to the home.nest.com and home.google.com websites and see all of your cameras and doorbells.
We migrated a couple of years ago without any issues. Below is Google Nest's Help page on migration issues; I don't know if it has any clues for you:

I’m sorry I don’t have an answer, but I’d really like to expand the question some more because part of it would really help me.
Too felt initially pushed/pressured to migrate, I have four nest drop cam pros which were prior 2021, and have been AMAZING! (Cannot stand ring cams to save my life), but ANYwho, I used my personal email which I'm finding more and more security reasons for this not to be and email to use and associate with my home product log ins, among many other things because I run and share an Airbnb. It’s just way too easy to guess
how do I entirely change out my association with my home network and cameras without having to use my firstname.lastname email? I have had it for eons because at one point it made sense. Now it’s simply a massive security problem to me.
I’m scared to factory reset all cameras and end up in a similar situation as user stated above, I NEED my security to be functional, secure and not revealing/associated with my main google log in.
(this may be for another section in the community, but this doesn’t even broach the subject of having now work (google/teams/office365 integrated) now feeling like it’s all one big conglomerate and I have to spend weeks updating security every time a new update is released) anyway, will find that thread next…
