Can't link xiaomi home and google home anymore

Kamoulocks

Hi,

I'm able to link my xiaomi home account and my google assistant.

When i try, i got a error message that tell me this :

could not reach mi home, please try again.

Tried to reboot the phone, uninstall/reinstall Xiaomi home app and google home app.

It suddenly stop to work so i deleted the link between the 2 account and now i can't make the setup again, always the same error message.

Any tips please ?

Thank you.

Hey guys! I found a temporally fix.

You must use the samsung smart things app and sync it with your yeelight/xiaomi account. If your smart device dose not appear in the yeelight app, you have to install an older version that can connect to mijia bulbs. I found a russian version that works just fine for my MJDPL01YL. https://eda-studio.ru/apk/transl/com.yeelight.cherry.apk

Sync your smart things app with the yeelight account and all your bulbs will appear in the samsung app.

Connect your samsung smart things app with your google home app and your bulbs should appear.

This is a temporally fix that i found after 2 days of no sleep. I don't think it is the best but it works.

Google's local home sdk dose not work with this.

I think there is a google problem because the samsung app worked just fine. I think it also works with bixby.

Google please fix it.

😀👍good news. Hopefully gets a fix quickly

This has been happening for a couple of weeks. Last week it said “I don’t know” and then later in the day, it played it fine. Lots of bugs lately… sleep sensing doesn’t work me at the moment either.

Hey folks,

Thanks for bringing this up.

We're sorry to hear about this experience. There's an ongoing conversation referring to this issue. We'll go ahead and move this conversation to the main thread for updates.

Best,

Princess

It's back working for me now, about 2.5 days after the problem first started. In case it helps anyone. I had, by now, unlinked the Mi Home app, then, linked it again. (It didn't help earlier, with Google Home app still saying Mi Home could not be reached, but it begun working a few hours ago.)

I contacted both Google Home Support and Xiaomi Global Support. Both gave me the same restarting/resetting steps and later the Google guy suggested that it might be a Xiaomi server sided issue while Xiaomi have not confirmed anything like that yet

Same here.... Google are you even aware of the issue, this should be already fixed. it's been days without any feedback from you!!

Hi there! I've experienced the same issue in Portugal and I reported it directly to Google through the feedback field on MI Home.

Now I'm glad to announce that apparently the integration bug is solved. Today I can re-link Mi Home to Google Home successfully and all my devices can now be controlled again! I advise you all to try again the link today!

Thanks for sharing

I can confirm from my side. It's fixed.

I found a solution!
First, open google chrome, go to setting and allow all cookies, Then, open the google home app and tap on the "connect mi home" button, when the login page opens, tap on the top menu and choose "Open in Chrome", and only then, enter your login info and tap the "Sign in" button. Worked for me!

HI, I found a solution to relink MI home to Google Home again. I needed to delete the Google home App setting in the Settings/Applications (cache and data). After that I completely removed the Google Home app. Phone (Galaxy S10e) restrated and reinstalled Google home again. After that the link process worked fine again.

The bad part that although MI Home linked successfully, my MI humidier did not appear. I am still looking an answer regarding this.
