Connect Nest account to Google Home

Hello.

I am trying to connect my Google learning thermostat to my Google Home. 

When prompted on the Google home app to connect to Nest, we are unable to log into Nest via Google.

When forgot password is selected we are able to log into Google, but this causes a redirect loop back to the login page.

You cannot add a Nest Learning Thermostat to the Google Home app.

When a Nest Learning Thermostat is installed in the Google Nest app, it should AUTOMATICALLY appear in the Google Home app if you are using the same Google Account for both apps and are accessing the same Google Nest "home/structure".

In the last several months, some customers in this forum have reported this isn't happening. Many of those customers have successfully tried this workaround:

In the Google Nest app, create a new, temporary Google Nest "home/structure".

In the Google Home app, go to that new empty Google Nest "home/structure" and delete it. Apparently, this forces the 2 apps to sync and the thermostat appears in the Google Home app.
