Connecting Home and a Sony Bravia tv to set up ambient mode pictures

Got a new Sony Bravia "Google TV", doesn't appear to be a way to easily access Google photos other than through Google Home app. It worked for ONE WEEK and then suddenly can't access photos, prompted to fix on the Home app which only gives the error Problem connecting to cloud when settings are selected, and no option to do anything.  So frustrating trying to troubleshoot and finding nothing useful online. ANY help would be hugely appreciated.  Maybe another easier way to show google photo slideshows on a tv?

Hi Peeved123,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

This is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you out. A few things: does your TV have a built-in Chromecast or a Chromecast device plugged into it? When you select the option Art Gallery, will that work? Is your TV connected to the internet wirelessly or wired? You can do a sequential reboot. First, unplug your TV for 30 seconds, then do the same thing to your Wi-Fi router to refresh both devices and your Wi-Fi signal.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,

Juni
