Hi Leo859,

I’m sorry to hear about your account. I just wanted to confirm, the password you are trying to reset is for the Gmail account itself, or the Nest login?

Regards,
Alex

Hi there,

Got it. Have you tried signing in on a web browser? To reset your Nest account, give these steps a try:

  1. Open a Chrome browser.
  2. Go to https://goo.gle/2qjvVSU > select Sign in with Nest > click Forgot password.
  3. The reset email link will be sent to your email address. Then, follow the instructions to reset your password.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,

Juni

No email comes to reset password, that's the problem.

Hi Leo859,

Got it. See the steps below and let me know how it goes.

  1. Please check the following.
    • Spam folder
    • Promotions folder
    • Junk or Trash if their email filters junk mail directly to the trash
  2. Did you recently delete your Nest account or have received an email from Nest that asks to confirm their account's deletion?
  3. Try the following steps.
    • If your mail service uses one, add @Nest.com to their allowlist. The steps on how to do this step vary based on your Internet Service Provider (ISP). If you can't find the steps on how to do this with a simple Google search, then contact your ISP for help with the process.
      1. Some email domains may have an anti-spam feature that could block legitimate emails from Nest inadvertently. If you added account@nest.com to your allowlist, you should receive the verification email.
      2. Known domains which block Nest emails at the server level: @btinternet.com and @comcast.com.
    • If you still can't receive emails after you added account@nest.com to your allowlist, contact your ISP or email provider.

Regards,

Juni
