Geeni Account will not connect to Google Home

When ever I try to connect my Geeni Account to my Google Home app, it says "Something Went Wrong. Try Again." I have uninstalled both apps. Restarted my phone multiple times. This problem stemmed from me trying to link new light bulbs to my account, and they were not linking properly. I unlinked my once linked Geeni Account from my google account, and now it will not connect again. This is extremely infuriating because this process used to be flawless and I had no problems before. I do not understand why this has suddenly become a problem. Please Fix this google. Geeni has done everything in their power to fix this. This is a bug in the Google Home app.

I doubt that I am the only one having this problem. I don't understand how this just stops working.

Guess what magically works now! I woke up this morning, and saw that 3 IoT devices connected to my Wi-Fi, and I said to myself “that can only be one thing.” Went on over to the google home app and Geeni Connected right away. I guess problem fixed? I wish it would work all the time but you take what you can get

I’m having the exact same problem! In the geeni app, it says that my Google account is linked. In Google Home, I remove geeni and re-added it and just keep getting the “something went wrong. Try again “. I was looking at another message that indicated that the person had to re-sync each device. I’ve got like 15 devices and I really don’t wanna do that if I don’t have to.

I can't even connect my Geeni Account anymore! It's super annoying, especially since I had it connected before (albeit super glitchy)

I think it’s down completely right now! On my geeni app it shows my lights on, in the google home app it says they are offline and the lights won’t turn off now

It was showing that for me too! Idk what’s going on. Hopefully they see this and fix it…

Add me to the list! ……………Lost my SiriusXM streaming on all my speakers yesterday………an hour ago lost all my Geeni devices. Unlinked Geeni and after about 10 attempts of “something went wrong, try again” managed to link Geeni again……….All Geeni devices are still showing Offline.

So weird. Well at least our stuff works now. Although I wouldn’t call it resolved since it will probably happen again lol. Of all the nights I chose to set up my smart bulbs, that’s the one to choose lol
