Trying to use device settings.

But when selecting the setting icon (gear)

Are you using the latest version of the Google Home app? (Check the App Store for updates.)

Have you tried force restarting the app?

  • Android: Swipe up from the bottom, hold, then let go. Swipe up on the Google Home app.
  • iPhone/iPad: Swipe up from the bottom, hold, then let go. Swipe up on the Google Home app. On older devices with a home button, double-click the Home button, then swipe up on the Google Home app.
  • Reopen the Google Home app.

WhoDatBeDare If issue persist after following the steps above, try these guide:

  1. Make sure your speakers and phone are connected on the same network.
  2. Uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app.
  3. Reboot your phone.
  4. If you're using an iOS device, make sure Local Network Access is turned on for the Google Home app.
  5. If all fails, try using a different phone.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Alex
