Google Home App update broke functions again!

I can't believe Google has done this AGAIN!

So after 2 years of going through the same repeating problems with Google Home not working properly, after reports reports reports, after low ratings, emails, videos, photos of various problems over a 2 year span they finally got everything fixed and had things right for a good month, month and a half. For once everything was working perfectly no problem whatsoever. LIFE WAS GOOD!

Now the nightmare is worse than ever because Google once again is trying to institute a color wheel to pick the colors for various lights and devices. Remember the last time they tried this? I do because it didn't work! Well guess what it's even worse this time because now when you try to get Google to change your lights to a certain color it says such and such device is offline or it says that device doesn't support those functions, which is an outright lie. I've had these lights for over 4 years and they have always worked with Google, always, even through all the Google problems I've managed to get it to work. Not the case now. Previously we already told Google that the color wheel does not work so they took it off and went back to the original way to set colors for lights and devices. Recently they updated the app and went back to the color wheel and now the problems are worse than ever. Now all Google can do is turn the lights on and turn them off. It can't do anything else because it says either that device doesn't support this function or that device is offline.

The exact same problem occurs via the android app on all my phones, my Google mini speaker and my Google hug. EVERYTHING is up to date with current versions, but I noticed the Google app has a somewhat different layout now which tells me this is where the problem began AGAIN!
Way to go Google you ruined it again. So, why did you change ANYTHING? Now it's gonna be another round of tell me this, answer this, fill this form out, send this in, send that in, try this, try that, do this, do that....  but the problem will drag on and on and on and on and on for months again, just like last time. It's time to move on to Siri or Samsung or something else. I'm tired of the bs, just tired of it!

Yeah what's even crazier is they sent me the typical cookie cutter email saying do this do that blah blah blah blah **bleep** that I've already done and it never works to begin with and now routines aren't working I've got automated routines that happen while I'm at work and none of them are working again... And then I've been checking other Google apps and I've noticed some of the other apps aren't quite working the way they should either which tells me that they're doing some sort of major upgrade to everything Google last time they did this they had problems for 2 months...

So they emailed me AGAIN with the exact same excuses and recommendations - 2 hours later it was back to n - BUT now my Google Display is all kinds of messed up - it just played an alarm and there was NO NOISE so how/why did it do that? Now it'strying to play music but no one told it to, and it also changed the background setting I have on it - wtf is going on with Google?

Ran into the same problem using Google nest mini Google speakers second and third gen as well as all Samsung phones in the home and Fiet smart home devices.

It appears that all functionality to my remote plugs is broken now too for some reason they will not take the on and off command and I have to go into the app to turn them on and off manually because the UI Not only was updated but the script that runs the UI button has been changed to something entirely different that has a more complex graphical layout.

This is likely cuz they made it fancy because they wanted it to look fancy and they probably sent the updated script to just about every other vendor except for third party vendors that have used their prior devices in the past breaking just about all old devices and I'm defining old devices as three or more years old.

I've noticed this regarding Google they will and continuously have broken their own stuff because it has become such a big monster that they're having the same problem Microsoft is having with 365; all of their code is a mess and a patchwork of bad code making everything work.

Doesn't help that a lot of their original developers that help them build the infrastructure for their software were fired retired or died and they lost the source code to **bleep**
