Google Home limited to six family members, but Nest had 10 family members.

Hi

I bought a Google Nest Guard understanding that the Nest family allows for up to 9 Full Access users, plus 1 owner for a total of 10 Full Access users. However since Nest was acquired by Google and the user account management was moved across to the Google Home app I can only add 6 family members. This is very problematic for me, as I require the 10 users. They've taken away critical functionality that I rely on for this device and I'm wondering when it will be restored?

Here's what Nest says you can do: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9304271

  • One Owner
Up to nine additional people with Full Access
Up to 10 people with Home Entry Only

Here's what Google Home says you can do: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9155535

  • Note: You can have up to 6 members in a Google Family Group.

We are using this Alarm system in conjunction with a bunch of other Google products like cameras and speakers in the studio. Most of it works great, but since Nest was bought by Google and the Nest Guard is no longer for sale, the support for this device has become sorely lacking.
