I have 2 existing Google Nest thermostats and an Outdoor Nest camera (wired) all contained and controlled in the Nest app- which we love.
When the time came to replace a Canary camera on one of our homes, we went with the Google Nest (battery) camera thinking we could just add it to the Nest App and control all devices in one place. Turns out after many attempts we can’t. And we need to use the Google Home App for this battery NEST camera. This is beyond frustrating. The Google Home app is terrible, and doesn’t record history for more than one day, so where is the security in that? Will the battery operated camera ever be incorporated into the Nest app?
