Google Podcast App isn't syncing progress

It seems to work fine if I just ask the nests to resume podcast, but if I then want to play from my Pixel 4a (5G) in the car, it hasn't updated my listening.

Also if I cast from my phone to the nest hub, after a few minutes it 'stops playing' on the podcast app even though it continues to be played through the nest.

I understand that these issues can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried? What app are you using for this?

Hi

I've reset all devices involved multiple times. The podcast is playing from the Google Podcasts app and it's doing it both when I cast directly from the app and when I use the Google assistant to play via the Nest Minis

Thanks for letting me know about the issues you're still having and I apologize that this is still happening. It sounds like this is an issue within the Google Podcast App, which unfortunately we don't support here. I would suggest sending feedback within the app directly to our engineering team about the issues that you're having.
