Hi.
while trying to set up my Google nest hub, the set up needs me to log onto the Google home app and set it up. It can’t find my main WiFi network, I live in a dormitory. It still can’t find it even if I’m 2 meters away from the router.

Hey there,
I understand that this issue can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.
Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?
Please let me know.
Best regards,
Garrett DS

Yes I still have the same problem. I’ve tried rebooting my nest hub, reinstalling the Google home app, tried to connect it through my computer. Hasn’t worked, any of it

Hey there,
Sorry to hear that you're still having these issues.
Have you done a factory reset on your device? I would suggest doing that as well as unlinking the device from the app and re linking it as well.
Best regards,

Yes I have tried that. Could it be because it’s a WPA2 network?

Hi there,
Sorry to hear that you're still having troubles with this.
It definitely could be an issue with your network or wifi. I would suggest trying to use just the 2.4 network if you can.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best regards,
Garrett DS
