Through the nest app I can see humidity and control the hvac fan. In the google home app there is no humidity reading, nor can I control the fan.
However on the App Store I can see a screenshot in iOS showing humidity and fan control.
What do I need to do to make the google home app show the humidity and allow me to control the fan?
system:
forced air hvac - brand new trane system
gas furnace - brand new trane system
nest thermostat - 2nd gen version 5.9.4-5
Google home ios version - 2.53.103

I have exactly the same problem. I am not able to see humidity information in Google home app on iPhone, but it’s available in the Nest app.

Hello folks,
Thanks for reaching out about the missing humidity readouts in the Google Home app.
The Google Home app is still fairly new to the market, and some of the settings or display information are not available for the Nest Learning Thermostat 2nd or 3rd generation, including the Nest Thermostat E model. But we're always looking for ways to improve, and we'll take this as feedback. So, please let our product team know about it by sending feedback. Also, please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. Otherwise, this thread will be locked within 24 hours.
Regards,
Mark
