Hi, I upgraded to google advanced protection and I think it has messed up my google home settings.
The first issue is that when I ask google what my name is, it says "your name is Hayley" which is my wife's name. It does this on all speakers. I've checked google home and both of our accounts are registered and voice identification has been completed. It also only tells me what events are in my wifes calendar, not mine.
Secondly we no longer get notifications on our google speakers when someone rings our google nest doorbell. I get a push notification on my phone but no audible alert. The settings are switched on, but it's not working.

Hey Griffin,
Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community and sorry for the delayed response.
I understand how it feels when your Google Home devices are not able to recognize your voice. This is because your account has an active Google Advance Protection that prevents your speakers from accessing your personal information. These include your name, saved voice match, contacts, and calendar information. I suggest that you turn off the protection or use a different personal account that you can use on your speakers.
For the doorbell, are you the one who linked it from the Google Home app?
Looking forward to your response.
Cheers,
Muddi

Hi Muddi
I meant to update my post earlier. I managed to solve the problem by resetting all my speakers. They now recognise my voice and alert us when someone rings the doorbell.

Hi Griffin,
Sweet! Happy to hear that factory resetting the device resolved the issue and thanks for keeping me in the loop. Let me know if you still have questions and concerns otherwise, I'll be locking this thread after 24 hours.
Cheers,
Muddi
