How do I fix message "I'm sorry but I can't put your phone on silent from Google home"

When I say "good morning Google"  I get a message right back saying "I  sorry I can't put your phone on silent from Google home" how do I fix this issue

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. With this issue being with your Google Assistant with that device, I would suggest you restart the device and try again. Also, check in the Google Home app what your Google Assistant settings are like.
