Hi,

I live in a univeristy residence and I am seeing on my phone all the speakers and tvs connected to the wifi. I am also able to pause/stop them and seeing what they are playing... how can I block this and protect my privacy as well?

Hi Daniel,

Google Nest and Google Home speakers and displays are designed for use on a secure private home WiFi network and not large public or collage/university networks.

Cast media notifications can be turned off but this will not stop somebody else from using a cast enabled app and casting to another device on the same network.
