My husbands elderly mother is having difficulty answering her phone. Can we use the nest instead?

My husbands mother is in a care home and yet again, the home is in lockdown which means the only form of communication is by phone. However she is having difficulty answering calls and holding the phone so we are looking at alternatives. Is the Google nest something we can look at as an option. My husband lives in Canada but she is resident in Ireland as well as all her other children. If she had the Google Nest in the care home, could we use an app to call her? I am open to suggestions. She is in her mid nineties and is suffering from not having face to face contact with her family. The phone has pretty much been her only contact with the outside world since this pandemic hit and her mental health has taken a hit, understandably.

Talking back and forth is Brutal as it is one way and you have to talk pause talk pause talk pause.  I think it will be more challenging

I had a similar problem with my phone, and it was terrible. I am a sales manager and my job is connected with communication on the phone and when my client does not hear me well, it negatively affects sales. Not only that, but I even had a nervous breakdown because of this and I had to seek help from specialists from https://twitter.com/calmerry_com?lang=en it's good that psychologists helped me. I solved this problem by purchasing a new phone.
