I've tried removing my wife as a collaborator and adding her again, but when she tries to add things to our shopping list the nest hub says the list doesn't exist. Used to work, stopped in the last week or so.
Saw that others have had this issue and didn't see any resolution.
Just adding my voice to the void. Google used to have good products and services, but now it seems like I spend more time trying to fix or workaround things that used to work and Google has decided to cripple.
But this did motivate me to continue removing google products from my home. Just can't trust that they'll keep working for months or years, so they're increasingly a waste of money. Home Assistant is great though! Really loving how flexible it is and looking forward to replacing all of Google's useless devices. As far as search engines go even Bing is better than Google now, if you can believe it. But DuckDuckGo is at least as Google too and is better for privacy. Also switched to Firefox since Chrome crippled ad-blocking. Google also kept spamming me about running out of space so wound up just putting all my photos in my Synology Photos. Took a couple of days but now at least I have control and don't have to worry about Google using my pictures for their AI or anything.
Bye Google!

Hi whyBreakThingsG,
Thanks for reaching out to our community.
I’m sorry to hear that your wife can’t add items to your shopping list, since almost a week ago. Thank you for letting us know the troubleshooting steps you have tried to fix the inconvenience. It is my pleasure to assist you with this concern.
At this moment, based on the settings features available for all assistant-enabled devices, I found that adding articles to a shopping list is a Google Assistant feature that was removed.
Your feedback is the heart of what we do here at Google. I am truly grateful that you took the time to share your thoughts with us.
