Hi there!
I have had nest cameras for years and years--I did the migration over to Google Home. I can see my cameras there but I still get alerts through the Nest app.
I just added a new camera today--the setup forced me to go through Google Home. The camera appears there with the old ones but the notifications come through Home.
The legacy cameras still have those those controls through the legacy Nest app. Is there a way to move all of them to home so I can get the same controls or do I have to remove and readd them manually?
Thanks!

You cannot move your older Google Nest cameras and doorbells to the Google Home app.
Google Nest decided to have its new cameras and doorbells released starting in mid-2021 work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com web page, while our older cameras and doorbells continue to be administered, access history, and receive notifications ONLY in the Google Nest app (though they can be viewed in the Google Home app).
In Sept. 2021 Google Nest GM/VP posted this explanation of this 2-app approach. Except for numerous customer reactions, there has been no update since: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Blog/Message-from-our-GM-Updates-for-our-Nest-customers/ba-p/...

Thanks! I saw the same post.
Always great to manage the same product through two different apps. : /

Hey there,
Thank you for your feedback on this issue, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest Cams in the Nest App or available on https://bit.ly/3HtBgJC web app. I can imagine having to use two different apps at the moment is quite daunting, and could lead to frustration.
However, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support. I am more than happy to assist you further with this inquiry if you wish. Please let me know.
Best Regards,
Brad

Do we have any dates when the different generations of devices will be managed in 1 app and be available via browser/desktop.

Please look at this google blog post to find out more information. That information is the last up to date info we have.
