In Google Home app, I'm trying to open ports for my NVR camera system but in the app, I cannot find Port Management in Wifi Setting to change it.

@lamtaylor Try these steps:

  1. On the Google Home app home screen, tap the Wi-Fi card at the top.
  2. Tap Network settings.
  3. Tap Advanced networking.
  4. Tap Port management.
  5. Tap + icon at the bottom right to add a new rule.
  6. Choose a device.
  7. Enter the port numbers.
  8. Tap TCP, UDP, or both TCP and UDP.
  9. Tap the save icon at the top right.

The Google Home app doesn’t actually let you open or forward ports directly. Port management is only available if you’re using Nest Wifi or Google Wifi, and even then it’s under “Advanced Networking” in the Home app. If you’re on a different router (ISP-provided or third party), you’ll need to log into that router’s own settings page to set up port forwarding for your NVR. In short: if you don’t see the option in Home, it means your network gear doesn’t support it through Google’s app.
