Recording history ends at around 7PM in Full History

The new Home app doesn't display full history recordings when we go to History --> Full History. It  always ends around 7-ish PM each day. We can view recordings past 7PM but need to open the last recording and scroll to the left manually. This happens to multiple android phone. Does anyone have this issue? This camera is facing a heavy traffic street. Is there a limit of how many clips we can preview in Full History?

Yes, similar issue here. Happens on both Android and Apple. We have two Nest Battery cameras and both have the same issue. Seems like there is a max number of clips for Full History.

Hey there,

I am terribly sorry to hear that you're having this issue! I would love to assist you with this issue. If you are having issues with your Nest Cam or Nest Doorbell, I would suggest that you first start by restarting it.

Restart: Keeps all your settings, and it should reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever becomes frozen, has trouble reconnecting to the internet, or isn't working normally.

Best regards,

Brad

the cameras are new and working fine.

A full 24 hrs of history is available using the history 'slider' bar.

This issue is all of the events don't show when selecting 'Full History" in the app.

Is there is a limit to the number of clips in full history?

No, I do not believe there is a limit to how many, but you can only download a clip that is 5 minutes or less. 5 minutes being the limit. The new 2021 cams are event-based recording for the most part.

thanks Brad

I'm not downloading any, simply wanting to view the thumbnail with a description over a 24 hr period. These are all only 30 secs to 1 minute events, but when there are a lot of them there seems to be a cap on having them available in Full history.  Depending on the qty of events, it only shows about 10-12 hrs. I would then have to use the slider to view the rest

Are you able to submit this as a bug report?

I played around with the app a bit more, and this is definitely a bug. When you select a camera's full history, the app's filter is set for that camera. turning the filter off shows the full history of everything on your google home network. Presto, all the missing clips now show up (except they are mixed in with everything else). The code for the filter must have a limit to the number of clips it will list.

Hi there,

Just checking in to see how the conversation is going as there's been a lapse in activity on this thread. Yeah this bug is being looked into at the moment. I do not have a direct solution yet.
