Sign in to Nest home

We have a Nest doorbell that I originally set up on my account, then my husband set it up on his account and my account quit working on the app so I deleted it.  I can access the doorbell camera through my Google home app.  Now I have a Nest protect that I want to set up.  I downloaded the app and tried to sign in. If I choose sign in with Google nothing happens  if I try to sign in through Nest I choose forgot password but never got a reset email.  My husband added the protect unit to his account but if I try to add it to Google home  I still need to log in to Nest  which I can't seem to do.  Now my husband's phone knows his password as it connects automatically to the app  but he doesn't know it so I can't do that either.  What do I need to do?

Hey there,
Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help.

I understand that this issue can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Please let me know.

Best regards,
Garrett DS
