For 8 years I’ve had a great Tado and Google Home integration. I understand that Tado reconfigured the code and since they did that it’s broken. I’ve been to Tado help and weeks later I’m still nowhere.
the devices show but as offline I cannot control any of my heating or hot water any more unless I use the Tado app.
in summary:
the Tado app does not show in my integrated apps
when I try and unlink an offline device it takes me to the page to select the app which as above is not showing up so I cannot unlink it
I’ve tried relinking. It’s says it’s linked successfully but nothing happens.
I’ve deleted both apps. I’ve hard reset phone.
any help appreciated.

Following. I’ve just received my Tado thermostat to replace the nest one. Unfortunately I can’t added it to Google Home via the home app nor the Tado app. After reading some of the threads on here I’m seriously considering returning it and going for a Hive. Hoping someone can answer this question to save me having to do that!

Hey Community,
I'm facing the same problem. I'm in contact with both tado° Support and Google Support. The Google Support is doing their best but says they can't do anything because technically the issue is managed by tado°. The tado° Support isn't really helping; they stick to the argument that it only works with a Nest Hub. Google themselves said that this is not technically necessary. I hope to get a better solution from tado° Support now. I'll post an update if I have something new.

Further to this issue and getting absolutely nowhere with Google help or Tado (who you have to email, can’t call direct and still waiting for a reply some 3 days later), I removed the Tado device from the Tado app, rebooted router, rebooted iPhone, added the device back into the Tado app and it then gave me an option ‘Matter device linking’. This option had previously been greyed out/unavailable but after all the above it then showed as available and I was able to link it to Google home.
As an aside I also had issues initially linking the wireless receiver to my home WiFi and only by chance did I discover you can only link it to 2.4Ghz, so I had to turn my 5Ghz off, connect device to WiFi then turn 5Ghz back on. This advice is not given anywhere by Tado. The whole process of joining the home WiFi and linking the Tado to Google has probably taken me 6+ hours and defo created an extra few grey hairs!

I had the same issue at home.
The only thing I did was deleting the tado connection in Google home and after that, I've added it again. Now it's back online. (I have more Google accounts, take the 1 that you always use, because it didn't work with my second account in the same household)

Thanks for replying. I couldn’t even link the Tado app in Google to begin with, the workaround advice was to link it via Tado app, but the option was greyed out/unavailable. Perseverance paid off but it was definitely not an easy feat and I consider myself quite IT literate.
