The newest Google Mini update changed my Mini language to English. How do I change it back to Danish

How do I change language of a Mini of Google Home device?

How odd. 
 
You can change your language in the Google Home app by tapping your profile image in the top right, followed by Assistant Settings and Languages. 
 
From here, you should see the current language setting. If its showing as English, then you should be able to change it back to Danish from this menu. If it's showing as Danish, then let me know, and I'll see what else I can suggest.

Okay, I can see the update didn't change the language. On the other hand, the update 1.56.264650 made it very clear that I have two languages setup for my devices, Danish and English. 

 
The problem with the new update is that the first command that I ask any device fails giving giving an error message. it was by default giving a reply in English which was the preferred language. This made me believe the device changed language.

Are the commands still failing at the first time of asking?
 
If so, can I ask what steps you have tried so far to try and resolve this?

Commands are still failing - sadly. This has been an ongoing issue for the last 1.5 weeks. I tried changing the language so now it is our local language, as first language, and it replies in the right language. I thought this was the issue but no it didn't solve the issue. 
 
I don't know if the issue is caused by the fact we have our devices on the software preview programmed. We have one device not on the programmed and it still works fine. I have rebooted both router and other WiFi devices with no change in performance and no - the devices are not too far from the router. 
 
The failing devices are running software version 1.56.264660. The okay device is 1.54.250118.

I understand that language issues with the google mini can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help. 

 

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?
