Hi all.
we just got 2 hubs and a mini and started our Google home journey. Set up my husband and child and myself. All on own google accounts, added to home, added voice profiles, added devices. Everything worked exactly as it should for the first two days. Then my kiddo asked Google to play her music on the living room speaker (upstairs) for the first time (from the basement).
since that moment I (who added devices and set up profile first, etc) Google constantly confuses my kiddos voice profile and mine. If I ask it to play music on my Spotify it woks about 75% of the time, but still occasionally steals her music from downstairs. But the bigger issue and why I think ifs a voice profile issue-is we both have personal routines set up with Hey Google Good mornjng triggers. when I use routines upstairs it will execute my kiddos’ and not mine-about 5/8 mornings. The Other mornings it’s fine. And the good night routines have only mixed up once. It responds to her voice faster than mine upstairs now too.
any suggestions on how to “fix” our voice profiles to differentiate. She’s a minor, on my family link but is set up as a manager.

Retrain your voices using your phone/s in a place where the home units cannot hear you.

Hey there,
kiltguy2112, thanks for your continuous support!
Ttrew, did retraining your voices work? If the issue persists, try removing your child's account first then add it back. If she has her own phone, try retraining her voice on her mobile phone.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Alex
