Why Workspace accounts can't be in a Home?

It is stupid that you cannot invite anyone to Home if you have a Google Workspace account. Please someone at google explain to me this absurdity. It is like telling someone who works at Google that they can not work there if their phone is a Pixel.

What is the reason behind this? Thanks

Unfortunately I don't have an answer as to why they aren't compatible as we don't have direct communication with the developers.
