cant unlink 'linked to you' devices

I have tried everything.  Force stopping google home, deleting data and cache. uninstalling and reinstalling the app.  Tried basic 'unlink' first but just says 'could not reach' every time.  I have tried every method suggested by many people, in desperation I have just factory reset my phone, and as soon as I logged back into google home, there they all are still.  Tried deleting home making a new home, no luck, nothing works. Please help.

  • Have you moved these devices to a Home and Room? Select device and Settings
  • Do you still have the brand app installed on your phone? Is it up to date?
  • Some brands allow you to disconnect from Google and Alexa with their app.
  • If you can't unlink will it allow you to reconnect? As a last resort to remove devices from Google Home try deleting one device from brand app and reconnecting both apps.

I can't reconnect or unlink, it just says 'can't reach homeway, try again later'.  Have tried adding room, home, deleting, moving, uninstalling.  Have factory reset my phone,.. now have bought brand new phone and it's still there, 415 devices that I'm stuck with.

Do you really have 415 devices or were you just trying to make a point?

If you do, then your router would be overloaded. Even the best ones available couldn't handle that many devices.

Yes 415.  They are entities exposed on home assistant and the homeway app decided to expose them all onto Google home, which sees them as devices, but yes you're right, they are not technically 'devices'.
