setting up Nest Thermostat google home app not connecting to the cloud

Hello, 

Setting up my 4th Generation Nest Thermostats however when trying to connect them to the Google home app I get the error Trouble connecting to the cloud please try again later. 

I have tried a new gmail account. Deleting the app and redownloading but still getting the error.

Are you using the latest version of the Google Home app? Are you able to confirm what version it is in the Google Home app settings?

lilsDubai, I'm jumping in to ensure everything is good here. Were you able to try the suggestions above? If yes but to no avail. have you tried also using another mobile device for the setup process?
