any service i try to link with my home causes a toast bubble of "could not reach WHOEVER. please try again" but the same thing happens
kasa. hue. tuya. sonoff. ANYONE
also i cannot switch presence sensing to this phone/handset as it says in a big white page it "wasn't saved"
i can't unlink or link things or make ANY changes to my home structure at all
creating a new home results in the same issue
logging in as a different google user is fine. a change to home is ok on their account on my phones
using my google account on a new handset is not fine. it's account specfic not user error
i can't add a new nest device, i can't do *ANYTHING*

Thanks for reaching out.Thank you for letting us know about your Google Home app concern. I'm committed to providing you with excellent customer service and will do everything I can to help you resolve this issue. Are you using a Google Workspace account? If not, were there any recent changes made to your account that might have caused this?

no i'm not using a workspace account and no there haven't been any changes, recent or otherwise. you're really going to fix things like blank netbios name resolution and improperly managed multicast group requests, huh? bold. just so you know - every google person i talked to the last 20 odd year's turned out to be a liar or a fool. will you be the first to break the mould?

lmfao. i don't think you have a clue what you're talking about. please use a popular search engine on the technical words you've either ignored or misunderstood. "netbios name" and "leaving and joining multicast groups". tia
