I am not getting any alerts on my phone, I just installed the set up and have nest aware for a month for free but get no alerts. I've already made sure in phone settings that nest and Google home are allowed to send notifications.

I'm having this exact same issue. Just purchased three flood lights and added them to two cameras that were connected to the regular Nest App. When I went to add them to the Nest App, it was then I learned they must be added to the Home App and read that the Home App has multiple issues. I am extremely frustrated considering the cost of these flood light cameras. The basic cameras and the basic Nest App was flawless. The new cameras are useless if I cannot get them to send an alert.
