And I am another victim to the poor manufacturing of the Nest Hello doorbell.
My doorbell is under a porch, covered from the rain and no direct sunlight but after 3 years I am now a victim of the peel.
Reached out to Google support and they have said no as I am no longer in warranty, this is not acceptable under consumer law as this product is clearly not fit for purpose.

I had my Google nest doorbell (wired) for 1 year and 3 days and had the same issues. The edges were lifting a peeling. I contacted them and they sent me a one time replacement. Perfect example of Chinese manufactured products.

After my recent incident of being forced to upgrade my nest subscription, and Google not wanting to replace this faulty hardware, I am really thinking twice about my google home devices, chromecast and pixel and replacing it all.
Selling hardware is not where the customer experience should stop, it should be where it starts!
