Announcements in all speakers!! WHY??!!!

Hi,

How can I remove some speakers from announcing visitors? I spent an hour on the phone with google, deleted and reinstalled my doorbell and I still cannot get it to only announce on 1 speaker only.

I have 10 speakers around my entire house, I want to get the notifications, but not in all speakers. HELP!! Those anyone know a workaround to this issue.

Google, come on and fix this!

Google Nest Support should have immediately told you that it is simply not possible to get "Visitor announcements" on selected speakers.  All you can do is turn on "Do not disturb" on the speakers where you do NOT want to receive announcements. By design, "Visitor announcements" go to ALL Nest Hubs, Nest Minis, and Nest speakers (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451?hl=en#zippy=%2Cturn-visitor-announcements-on-or...). There are MANY posts in this forum asking to be able to send announcements to selected speakers only.

Thanks for responding. I see posts going back 2 years, doesn't look like Google care to fix this issue. It is very annoying, I am so mad I was just talking to my husband and told him to get rid of all the google speakers, hubs and cameras and get all Apple products. 

One more thing, what will else the Do not Disturb will disable?

We don't use "Do not disturb", but it supposedly mutes "reminders, broadcasts, Nest doorbell visitor announcements, and other spoken notifications on Google speakers and displays" (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7552172?hl=en).

We just get "Visitor announcements" on all our speakers. We use it because the internal batteries on all 3 of our Nest Hellos have failed over time, requiring us to turn off the "Indoor chime" option on all 3.

@Misstgc, thanks for posting here in the Community. How's it going with your Nest Doorbell and speakers? Were you able to disable the notifications or enabled the Do Not Disturb settings from your Nest speakers? In case you have an update, you know where to find us.
