Any update on the "Streaming Media Repeatedly Pauses When Viewing Nest Cams on a Hub" issue?

We use a centrally located Hub solely to keep our Nest cam feed up on the screen at all times. This is preventing any other devices from being able to stream anything anywhere on the network - Like lots of other folks, we're having the issue where showing the cams on the Hub repeatedly pauses all other casting devices!! It is a real problem. ETA on a fix? Any work arounds?

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I can definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be. I would love to help you find a solution to this issue. 

  • Do you still need help with this issue?

  • What troubleshooting steps have you done thus far? 

  • Have you tried to restart your device if you haven’t already?

  • If the restart didn’t work, have you tried to do a Factory Reset? This would be a last resort option, but would clear out issues and the device would essentially be ‘brand new’

This is a known issue, and it has been a known issue for months. We are still in need of a fix — all of us. No amount of troubleshooting will help. It’s a Fuchsia bug. It’s been widely reported and blatantly ignored by Google. Google needs to fix it.
