Battery Doorbell went offline. I removed it from the home app and factory reset it.   I am unable to add it back.  Tried adding it on my IOS and my partner's android.  No luck.  No errors.

Hi @bverdera,

We're sorry to hear you're having trouble connecting your Nest Doorbell to the Google Home app. We're here to help!

Let me give you a hand with this situation. To start, let me ask you if you try these troubleshooting steps:

  • Quit and restart the Nest or Google Home app. This can often resolve temporary software glitches.
  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled. Turn Bluetooth off and then back on to refresh the connection.
  • Restart your phone or tablet. This can also help address software-related issues.
  • Toggle airplane mode. Turn on airplane mode, then turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Wait a few seconds, then turn them back on. This can force the device to re-establish connections.
  • Try a different device. If possible, test the connection using a different smartphone or tablet.
  • Restart your modem and router. A router or modem reboot can sometimes resolve network-related problems.

If these steps don't resolve the situation, please provide more details and we'll be happy to assist you further.

Best regards,
Douglas.
