I hardwired my battery cam and even tho I have a paid Nest Aware subscription, I only get events and not 24/7 video history like I get on my original (pre-Google) hardwired nest cam.

@Kellykellykelly

We've had a battery camera since Sept. 2021, plugged in from the beginning using the optional 10-meter power cable so that it is running in "plugged in mode" (I'm not sure of the exact name of the option). We had an existing "Nest Aware Plus" subscription, so we've been getting 10-day 24/7 video history and 60-day event video history ever since the camera was installed. Our camera is regularly online and "Live".

Are you using the optional 5-meter or 10-meter power cable?  (I'm not sure that the 1-meter charging cord that comes with the camera is suitable for POWERING the camera on an ongoing basis, as contrasted to CHARGING the battery.)

Was your battery camera plugged in when you installed it and did you specify that it was plugged in during the install?  I've seen a few posts from customers who added the power cable sometime AFTER they installed the camera, and they had to remove it from the Google Home app, do a factory reset, and reinstall it so they could specify that it was plugged in.

Do you have a "Nest Aware" subscription (event video history for the most recent 30 days) or a "Nest Aware Plus" subscription (24/7 video history for the most recent 10 days and event video history for the most recent 60 days)?  We've had a "Nest Aware Plus" subscription since 2020; it applies to ALL 1st gen and 2nd gen cameras and doorbells in the same Google Nest "home/structure".

If you have a 1st gen Nest Aware subscription on your original hardwired camera, those 1st gen subscriptions apply to specific cameras only, and do NOT apply to 2nd gen cameras or doorbells.
