Battery door bell won’t go to wired mode

  • New battery door bell works but can’t get the wired mode to set up. Keep getting @ something went wrong, try again”. Done that 6 times with no success. 

how do I fix this?  Return Purchase and buy wired?

Thanks for posting and apologies for the late reply. I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should. To confirm, are you able to set up the Nest doorbell as a battery type to the Google Home App? When you say something went wrong, are you referring to set up as wired to the App? or to the actual device? Hit this link to know more about this.
 

Give these steps a try:

  • Make sure that your Google Home App is updated.
  • If you successfully set up the Nest doorbell before, make sure that you remove it from the app and reset the actual device to the factory default when reinstalling it. Hit this link for the steps.
