I've had my nest doorbell for a while now but this past week it'll randomly go offline (according to my Google home app) and then randomly reconnect after an arbitrary amount of time. There's no consistent trigger for it going offline and looking at the doorbell shows that it reacts to movement, shows a solid green light, and otherwise behaves correctly. Only the Google home app and my Google nest screens show the doorbell Offline. My phone shows good wifi signal and the green light indicates good signal strength. No other cameras in the house ever have this problem. Ive seen similar posts on this forum but there no answer. If this isn't a solvable problem I'll probably have to trash this thing and go with another video doorbell.
Any help would be appreciated.

You're right, if the status light is solid green ("turned on, connected to Wi-Fi, and is processing images" - https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9268073?hl=en#zippy=%2Cgoogle-nest-doorbell-battery, then your battery doorbell should NOT show offline in the Google Home app or on https://home.google.com. And you're right, others are reporting the same issue with the battery doorbell.
We get false "offline" reports for our Nest Hubs in the Google Home app, but it resolves itself after a short time.

Hey there,
Thanks for your help, @MplsCustomer!
Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.
Best regards,
Brad
