Best doorbell won't connect to home app

Best battery doorbell won't connect to home app. Get the message "move closer to another best device" obviously I setup the door right next to my hub max. Tried restarting hub and phone, any ideas?

Sadly, the new nest cams do not work with the NEST app ( Thanks Google)!  They only work with the almost useless GOOGLE HOME app.  Most people are returning the new cams because of that and also there is no way to view the cameras from your computer.  This is a 2-steps forward 100 steps backward product release if I have ever seen one.
