Broken Nest Hello backplate

I broke the top plastic tab on the backplate during installation.  The small clear packing tape tabs that I added on each side of the Nest are doing OK, but are not permanent solutions.  I have searched high and low for a replacement back plate but can't find one.  Can you help?

Google Nest does not sell spare parts for its cameras and doorbells (unlike its competitors), but seems to provide replacement parts if you're under the 1-year warranty, by contacting Google Nest Support at: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp
