Camera Battery - Battery Charging Slow issue

My google camera (battery) - purchases in Feb/March 2022 is having charging issues.

It is saying the adapter or the cord is not compatible for fastest charging.

It says “charging slowly” & 27+ hours to charge. I am currently using the original cord & adapter that came in box. 

Have people had similar issues, how can this be resolved?

My Nest doorbell battery didn't come with an adapter so I am not sure if you are using an adapter that is powerful enough. You are using the USB-C cable to charge your doorbell? 😊

Hi, I am not referring to the google nest Doorbell. 

I have the outdoor nest camera (battery) & this is the product I am having issues with.

Did you already reach out to Nest Support about this issue?
Could be a defective cable or charger.  🤔

The charging cord should be plugged in with the cord feeding towards the FRONT of the camera.

I have seen other reports like yours, where either the charging cord or the camera were defective. You should NOT get a "charging slowly" error with the Google Nest-provided charging cord. So you should contact Support.

We have had a Google Nest Camera (Battery) for a year, plugged in with the optional power cable, and it stays charged all the time.
